Honorary Friends

The Friends have been pleased to bestow the title of Honorary Friend on several of its most valued members.

Current Honorary Friends:

Jim Turpie – in recognition of 15 years volunteering front-of-house, greeting visitors and as Gate Master.

Fraser Brown – in recognition of his dedication to developing the Education Service at the Museum, with tireless enthusiasm and professionalism.

Lord Lieutenant of Angus, Georgiana Osborne - for the excellent support she has shown to The Black Watch Regimental Family and the plans to redevelop The Black Watch Castle and Museum.

Lord Lieutenant of Perth and Kinross, Brigadier Melville Jameson CBE - for the excellent support he has shown over the years to the wider Black Watch Regimental Family and also the development plans for the future of The Black Watch Castle and Museum.

Volunteer Greeter, David Thomson - for his fundraising support to The Black Watch Heritage Appeal and his dedication to volunteering at the Museum. 

Lord Provost of Dundee, Mr Bob Duncan - for showing excellent support to the wider Black Watch Regimental Family and for presiding as President of the Black Watch Association. The Provost, Council and the people of Dundee have always held their local Regiment close to their hearts.
