The Commonwealth War Graves Commission role is to commemorate the war dead, from the building and maintenance of cemeteries and memorials to the establishment and preservation of records. This lecture will give a fascinating insight into the past and present role of the Commission. Our esteemed speaker Lieutenant-General Sir Alistair Irwin is not only the President of the Friends but is also the Vice-Chairman of The Commonwealth War Graves Commission.

Friends Newsletter

We are busy working on our first Friends newsletter which will be ready by the end of this month. It is proving to be good fun drawing together what we’ve been up to since our launch and serves as a reminder to us just how much we have accomplished in short space of time. Friends Welcome Tour

We have a Friends Welcome Tour on Wednesday 25th August at 10.30am. Our Welcome Tours are proving to be popular.
