The Black Watch Museum Object of the Month

To allow the Museum of The Black Watch to expand, care for its extensive collection and improve its flourishing educational service we have launched the Black Watch Heritage Appeal.

Development Concept

The Regimental Trustees have commissioned architect Lachlan Stewart RIAS, RIBA, B.Arch. to recommend how the present building could be altered and improved to provide:

  • increased display space
  • a large area for special exhibitions, educational interpretation and reunions
  • better storage for archives and artefacts
  • an improved shop and ticket office
  • accessible visitor facilities, including a tea room for visitors and staff
  • improved parking
