Erasmus

Hannah Pompalla did a two-month internship with the Museum in Summer 2009.

Hannah applied to the Erasmus scheme for financial assistance to make her trip possible.

The post incorporated a variety of tasks, primarily in relation to collections management (inventory of collections in store, repacking objects for long-term storage and inputting data to collections database), and also including working with volunteers, conservation and a multitude of other tasks.

Image: The Museum does not encourage its volunteers to try on museum artefacts, but in this case we made an exception. Men were much smaller in previous generations – about the size of a petite 19 year old German student, in fact.
