Fred.Olsen Cruise Lines has teamed up with The Black Museum Trust to support and celebrate the legacy of The Black Watch Regiment and its home at Balhousie Castle. Fred.Olsen has four Cruise Liners, one of which is called Black Watch. The Black Watch is said to be their most intimate ship with only 803 guests and is a firm favourite of Fred.Olsen fans.
The Black Watch Museum Trust is thrilled to welcome Rachael Jackson, PR manager with Fred.Olsen Cruise Lines to the Castle and Museum on Monday 23rd May. Rachael will visit the Museum, be shown the varied and unique collection, meet the Trustees, staff and learn about the legacy of the Black Watch Regiment. Rachaels experience will be shared with those who board the Black Watch through the planned updating of the military regalia exhibition located on the ship. From May this year Fred.Olsen Cruise Lines will be placing information leaflets on board its fleet of cruise liners. Guest will find these leaflets in their cabins, giving all who sail with Fred.Olsen the opportunity to learn more about The Black Watch Museum Trust, The Black Watch Heritage Appeal and they will be invited to join the Friends of The Black Watch Castle and Museum.
