Rotary Club of Perth Supports The Black Watch Heritage Appeal

Perth’s “Silent” Charity Auction is supported by the Perthshire Advertiser It is a fun and exciting way to raise money for charity.
Money from the silent auction will be donated to the Black Watch Heritage Appeal and MacMillan Cancer Support.
Local businesses and individuals have been asked to donate items, which will appear in the silent auction throughout November 2009. A silent auction works similar to any other auction in that anyone can raise a bid for an item, but in a silent auction the bidder remains anonymous throughout. The auction will run for approximately 2 weeks and items will appear in a three special supplements in the Perthshire Advertiser. There will also be a dedicated page on www.perthrotary.net to view the list of items. Bids for each item will be made by email, phone or in writing. The bidder’s name is not disclosed but the highest bid amount is constantly updated as the auction runs.
