It’s show time at Scotland’s museums and galleries big weekend! The Museum of The Black Watch is proud to announce three events at the Museum as part of Show Scotland 2010.
Show Scotland, which takes place between 30 April and 3 May 2010, is a weekend of creative cultural events celebrating all that is unique about Scotland. The programme of events offer great, entertaining days out. Show Scotland is run by Museums Galleries Scotland. To find out your nearest Show Scotland event see their website.
Captivating Collections is a chance to discover the hidden secrets of the Museum of The Black Watch. Meet the staff for drinks before being led on an exclusive tour of the Museum, including a peek behind-the-scenes. The event will be held on Friday 31st April 2010 from 7-9pm. Tickets are £5 and this includes refreshments. Booking is essential.
Black Watch Tales is a fun drop-in event for all the family, with stories and songs recounting tales of the renowned regiment - The Black Watch. The event will run on Saturday 1st May and Sunday 2nd May from 10am to 1pm. Entry to the Museum is free for families attending the event.
