The Black Watch Castle and Museum will reopen to the public on Tuesday 25th June 2013 after a major redevelopment.

May/31 - Museum displays bring collection to life
As The Black Watch Castle & Museum prepares to reopen to the public on 25th June 2013 the Museum Team are busy dressing cases and hanging paintings. With thousands of medals, paintings, diaries, uniforms and weapons to display, the Team is being kept busy aided by professional mount makers Rutherford & Wheeler and Stephen Umpleby.

By kind permission of the Provost of Perth and Kinross, Lieutenant General Sir Alistair Irwin, Pipe Major Alistair Duthie and others announced at an event in the Old City Chambers of Perth the publication of the long anticipated ‘Collection of Pipe Music of The Black Watch (Royal Highland Regiment)
