Thanks for this positive feedback! We're particularly pleased that our Family Activities are appreciated - they are a recent addition and something we will keep developing.

WHAT SUGGESTIONS DO YOU HAVE?

"Better coverage of the V.C awards."

We hope to have the original VCs held by the Museum on display in the redeveloped Museum, due to reopen in 2013. We also plan to have a better medals display, explaining about both the campaign and gallantry medals in more detail.

"A headset device for audio listening."

Thanks for your comment. We plan to have more and different listening devices in the redeveloped Museum, due to reopen in 2013.

"Dioramas concept a little dated."

Noted. Lots of our visitors do enjoy them, so we are divided.

"A Lift."

Due to the nature of the building (we are Grade B listed) installing a lift is fraught with planning difficulties. However, during our redevelopment phase we have the opportunity to have one installed - this will be available from 2013.

Collections staff are happy to deal with requests regarding the collection, but hope you can appreicate we need some warning of the specific requests to see items - making a request in advance and an appointment helps to avoid disappointment.
