Uniforms

Under the supervision of a professional conservator, a group of volunteers from the National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies (NADFAS) have been caring for the uniform collection. The below par storage conditions have been much improved by the addition of padded hangers and calico bags for the most delicate of items.

Alison Docherty, conservator, with Betty Bell, Jane Bruce and Catherine Erskine. The other members of Alison's "Travelling Band" are Moira Hogg and Sarah Gammell.
