WO Bedson medal collection

This interesting set of medals was purchased with the support of the National Fund for Acquisitions from the family of the late Warrant Officer Class 1 George Bedson. His career spanned 37 years from 1882 – 1919 and he was awarded the Military Cross as Regimental Sergeant Major of the 9^th Battalion during the First World War. He also fought during the Egyptian Campaign of 1882.
