The regional finals of the 2018/19 prestigious Scottish Thistle Awards will see some of the country’s biggest events, world-famous attractions and top-quality accommodation providers compete for the coveted regional accolades. For over 20 years the Scottish Thistle Awards have celebrated success, innovation, excellence and best practice in the country’s tourism and hospitality industry.
The Black Watch Castle and Museum is flying the flag for heritage tourism in Perthshire having been shortlisted in three categories:
- Best Heritage Tourism Experience
- Best Eating Experience
- Regional Ambassador, Anne Kinnes, CEO at the Castle and Museum,

The Black Watch Castle and Museum will now go head-to-head with other tourism businesses in the Central, Fife and Tayside regional finals on 15th November.
